PHOHM x Olivia von Halle for Chelsea in Bloom 2022

We are excited to show you our Chelsea In Bloom display for Olivia von Halle in celebration of the ‘Quintessentially Great British Picnic’. London parks were pioneered by Victorian Brits back in the 1800’s and picnics became a regular social occasion amongst the aristocracy.

Over time, the British picnic has become a part of their shared British heritage – an iconic and longstanding tradition that has brought people together, particularly during times of celebration. Nothing unites us more than sharing food amongst family and friends and their hope is that this interactive display, with a picnic area set amongst a wildflower meadow, will invite the local community and Chelsea in Bloom visitors to do just that.

We have used British grown flowers where available in our completely foam free installation. Special thanks to Lizzie @betty_blooming for supplying PHOHM with flowers grown locally at her allotment in Portslade and Sofie's @hazelandbee Sussex grown foxgloves.
